Pamela Berkowitz is an associate in the firm’s Real Estate and Estate Planning Practice Groups. 

Ms. Berkowitz regularly assists clients with estate planning, premarital planning, guardianship and probate administration.  She enjoys listening to clients to understand their planning needs and working with them to achieve their objectives.  She has experience counseling and representing clients in guardianship matters.  Ms. Berkowitz frequents the probate courts and is knowledgeable with the probate system.

Ms. Berkowitz also regularly assists clients with real estate needs ranging from commercial lease agreements to large scale zoning applications.  As a former legal intern for the City of Chicago, Department of Buildings, Ms. Berkowitz is familiar with local building/zoning law, court and administrative processes.

In addition, Ms. Berkowitz has experience working with governmental agencies on a range of legal and administrative matters. 

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Berkowitz worked as a business and analytic consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and IBM.  She maintained relationships with national and international, public and private sector clients, while working in Washington, DC, Chicago, IL, San Francisco, CA and Copenhagen, Denmark.
