Todd is a partner in the firm's estate planning, real estate and business practice groups. He has been in private practice in Chicago since 1993, concentrating on representing families, individuals, small businesses and financial institutions in a wide variety of legal matters, including: the preparation of wills, trusts and other estate planning documents; advanced estate tax planning; estate and trust administration; estate and trust litigation; business succession planning; buy/sell and shareholder agreements; organizing start-up businesses; sales and acquisitions of closely held companies; and business contracts and disputes. Todd also has extensive experience in real estate transactions, including: sales and purchases; commercial financing and loan documentation; commercial closings; residential developments; condominium law; tax-free exchanges; construction contracts; easement agreements; and real estate disputes.
