Our Real Estate Practice Group advises property owners, buyers, sellers, and lenders in all types of real estate transactions, including sales, purchases, exchanges, leasing, financing, construction, and development of retail, office, commercial, multi-family residential, industrial, and agricultural properties. We assist clients in selecting and setting up the most appropriate entity to hold or develop real estate, e.g. land trusts, partnerships, and limited liability companies. The Group also advises clients in complex land use and zoning matters and land title issues.
Two of our real estate partners have been involved in significant real estate redevelopment projects within the Chicago Loop. One partner also has been involved in massive real estate projects involving the Chicago Park District, the Chicago Board of Education, and the Chicago Housing Authority. He also represents a major national wind energy developer in large wind development projects from the acquisition phase through permit approval.
