Mr. Baker has over 30 years of broad transactional experience counseling primarily major banking and financial institutions, including 12 years as in-house counsel at one of Chicago's largest banks. He has spent the last 20 years in private practice at large national and international law firms.
He has an extensive transactional background in banking and finance, general corporate, commercial, M&A and regulatory matters. He prepares and negotiates bank financing documents for middle market corporate financings of all types, including senior and subordinated and secured and unsecured transactions, real estate transactions, acquisitions, divestitures and recapitalizations as well as private banking and wealth management financings.
Bruce advises on general corporate and commercial transactions, start-up companies, structuring private company acquisitions, initial capital structures, private equity and mezzanine investments. He also counsels clients on bank regulatory matters.
