Our Firm

Hoogendoorn & Talbot LLP was founded in 1985, when Case Hoogendoorn and Earl Talbot left their partnerships at Kirkland & Ellis to create a law firm focused on representing families, closely-held business entities, and charitable and religious organizations.  The move was strategic and the goal clear — to create a firm that focused on more than just giving legal advice, but that also focused on giving to organizations advancing the causes of justice, equality, and faith.

That goal has been achieved, and each year Hoogendoorn & Talbot LLP and its individual partners donate a portion of their time, talent, and revenue both to secular not-for-profits, like legal aid clinics, and to faith-based organizations that advance the resources available to individual and families in need.  We are proud of this tradition which is supported by every partner in our firm.
